On April 16, will be held the VIII edition of the Congress of Service Engineering and Management (CESG) in the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto, focused on the theme Emerging Services Technologies. This conference is held as an initiative of students in the first year of Master in Service Engineering and Management (MESG), within institutional support of FEUP, and intended for professionals from public and private companies related to services, as well as academic communities in this area and the organizations or people which are interested in this evolving field.

 

The program of CESG 2015 is designed with a comprehensive view on how to assert services, to develop them to be more useful in our life, and to facilitate the higher level of value creation for customers and organizations.

 

Following the work done in the previous year, in order to make this Congress into a national and international reference in the area of Service Science, we intend to extend the range of discussion and knowledge for technology support in term of service usage. In the area that has been participated by more than 500 people, this event will be useful to people who want to increase knowledge and motivation to follow the service engineering and management field as a future career.
